April 2002 - BBE® Mach3Bass Now Available in Digital Format

Huntington Beach, CA - April 17, 2002 - The Licensing Division of BBE Sound, Inc., announced today that it has finalized the development of a digital version of the BBE Mach3Bass bass enhancer.

BBE Mach3Bass electronically extends the bass response of a given speaker, and is capable of precise tuning at the specific low-end frequency desired. Assisted by the phase error correction technology of the world-renowned BBE process, BBE Mach3Bass provides deeper, tighter and more musically accurate bass frequencies than standard bass boost circuits. The BBE Mach3Bass does not affect the mid to low range of the sound which, if altered, creates muddiness in the mid-low frequency range and also changes the character of voices.

The analog form of BBE Mach3Bass has been successfully in use since 1999 in premium products from consumer electronics manufacturers including Sanyo and Sharp. The new digital Mach3Bass extends the same benefits to digital products and is suitable for television, home stereo, portable stereo, car audio, headphone stereo and multimedia computer use.

BBE Sound has also recently introduced BBE ViVA High Definition 3D Sound process into its licensing program.
