- BBE® MP™ Sound Enhancement
Technnology
Introduced Into BBE Licensing Program
Huntington
Beach, CA - April 24, 2002 - The Licensing Division of BBE Sound, Inc.,
has announced the introduction of the BBE MP process into its consumer
electronics licensing program. The core technologies used in the BBE MP
include the newly developed MP process in addition to the world-renown
BBE process. The MP process is a technological advance developed to improve
MP3 sound by restoring lost upper harmonics. BBE MP works by generating
the optimum amount of even order harmonics, which are then added to the
original source material. The MP process effectively adds warmth to MP3
material and provides a clear CD quality sound from heavily compressed
MP3 material. The new BBE MP sound processing technology is being offered
in addition to the BBE High Definition Sound featured in premium products
from Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Alpine, Pioneer, Hitachi, Sharp, Sanyo and
more than 150 other manufacturers world-wide.
Available
only in digital format, the BBE MP process has wide ranging applications
including MP3 players, MD players, DVD players, satellite radio, telephones,
computers and any digitally compressed audio reproduction devices. BBE
Sound has also recently introduced BBE Mach3Bass bass enhancer and BBE
ViVA High Definition 3D Sound technologies into its licensing program.
