2001 - Pioneer Adds BBE High Definition Sound
BBE has added Pioneer to the growing list of consumer electronics giants
employing its High Definition Sound process. At the Consumer Electronics
Show held in Las Vegas earlier this year, Pioneer introduced a new range
of car stereo products, all of which feature the BBE logo prominently displayed.
Pioneer now joins Aiwa, Alpine, JVC and Sony, all of whom have introduced
premium products featuring BBE. Increasingly concerned with safety, car
audio manufacturers have come to recognise that the clarity provided by
BBE, combined with lower volume levels, can only improve driver concentration,
thus reducing the likelihood of accidents.
