BBE Delivers the Tone at Dexter's Lab Studio

The Perfect Tone
A great story came in the other day from our friend Nick Bellmore, owner of Dexter’s Lab Recording Studio in Milford, Connecticut.
Nick was selected to work with metalcore Grammy nominee Hatebreed on their new album, The Divinity Of Purpose. During the sessions, Nick tried out several overdrive pedals with lead guitarist Wayne Lozinak. Here's Nick's story:
“We started messing with guitar tones to see which overdrive pedal would tighten up the sound. Wayne brought a bunch of classic and modern OD pedals. I had my trusty BBE Green Screamer OD which comes through time after time.
"We worked through all these OD pedals but always ended back at the Green Screamer! The tone was so good that we ended up using it all over the record.
"I hear BBE's new G Screamer is going to be even better, which wouldn't surprise me with Gus G behind it. I can't wait to try one out in the studio."
According to Nick, a Gibson + BBE overdrive + a Marshall = “perfect tone”.
