August 2001 - Micronas GmbH licenses BBE High Definition Sound technology

Micronas GmbH, a leading European-based provider of semiconductor audio solutions has licensed BBE High Definition Sound technology as used in the world famous BBE Sonic Maximizer™ professional audio signal processors. Micronas had already begun implementing the BBE High Definition Sound technology in ICs of their DSP-based MSP family, operating as a subcontrator for Sony to include BBE technology in Sony's new line of television sets soon to be sale in Europe.
